George Neville, 4th Baron Abergavenny (see here and here and here), born 1440,
mar Margaret Fenne [dau of Sir Hugh Fenne],
Margaret died 28th Sept 1485,
died 20th Sept 1492, age 52 yrs,
[Complete Peerage] says he was bur Lewes Priory, Sussex,
had issue:


  1. George Neville, 5th Baron Abergavenny (see here), K.G., born July 1483, succeeded 1492,
    mar Lady Mary Stafford and had issue,
    appears in Act 1, Scene 1 of the play Henry VIII by Shakespeare (temp. trial of his father-in-law Buckingham 1521),
    died 1536, age 53 yrs,
    bur at Birling, Kent.


  2. Sir Edward Neville, Kt. (see here), born est c.1485,
    of Addington Park, Addington, Kent,
    mar Eleanor de Windsor [descendant of Edward I],
    Knight Banneret,
    he was arrested, along with his sister and her husband, by Henry VIII in Nov 1538, imprisoned in Tower of London,
    executed (beheaded on Tower Hill) 8 December 1538, age est c.53 yrs,
    his sister and her husband were executed 9 January 1539,
    had issue:

    1. Edward Neville, 7th Baron Abergavenny.


    2. Catherine Neville, born est c.1520,
      mar Clement Throckmorton and had issue.


    3. Sir Henry Neville, of Billingbear House, Berkshire, had issue:

      1. Sir Henry Neville (see here), of Billingbear, born 1564,
        educ Merton College, Oxford,
        courtier and diplomat, Ambassador to France, died 1615.
        Ancestor of the Barons Braybrooke, of Billingbear.
        A new theory claims that he was the real Shakespeare. Note that most professional historians and academics reject such theories.
        The Nevilles (his ancestors) feature throughout Shakespeare's plays.


  3. Jane Neville,
    mar Henry Pole, Baron Montagu [born c.1495] and had issue.
