lord of Parr, Lancashire,
had issue:


Sir William de Parre,
mar 1383 to Elizabeth de Ros [dau of John de Ros, and granddaughter and heiress of Sir Thomas de Ros, Baron of Kendal, Westmoreland],
Parr family inherited Kendal through her,
Sir William died 1405,
had issue:


Sir John Parr,
mar Agnes Crophull [or Crophill],
died before 6 October 1407,
had issue:


Sir Thomas Parr, born 1407,
mar Alice Tunstall [dau of Sir Thomas Tunstall of Thurland, Lancashire, by his wife Eleanor Harrington],
died 1461,
had issue:


Sir William Parr, K.G.,
of Kendal Castle, Westmoreland (now Cumbria),
born 1434.
He mar Elizabeth Fitz-Hugh [born est c.1455, descendant of Edward III].
He died between July 1483 and Feb 1484.
He was bur Parr Chapel in Kendal parish church.
Elizabeth remarried.
Sir William and Elizabeth had issue:


  1. Anne Parr,
    mar Sir Thomas Cheyne (or Cheney)
    and had issue:

    1. Elizabeth Cheyne, born 1505,
      mar Thomas Vaux, 2nd Baron Vaux of Harrowden and had issue.


  2. Sir Thomas Parr, born c.1483.
    Father of Catherine Parr, Queen of England.


  3. William Parr, 1st Baron Parr of Horton.
    He mar Mary Salisbury [dau and co-heiress of Sir William Salisbury].
    Through her, Parr inherited the manor of Horton, Northamptonshire.
    He died 10 September 1547.
    He was bur Horton.
    They had issue:

    1. Mary Parr.
      She mar Sir Thomas Tresham [son of John Tresham of Rushton Hall, Northamptonshire, and Elizabeth Harrington, daughter of Sir James Harrington, of Hornby, Lancashire].
      Sir Thomas died 8 March 1559.
      He was buried at All Saints Church, Rushton, Northamptonshire, on 16 March 1559.
      They had issue:

      1. John Tresham,
        of Rushton,
        died pre-1559,
        had issue:


        1. Mary Tresham.
          She mar William Vaux, 3rd Baron Vaux of Harrowden and had issue.
          He was her father's 2nd cousin.
