1. Augustus Henry Fitzroy, 3rd Duke of Grafton (and here), born 1735,
   Prime Minister de facto 1766, de jure 1767-70,
   had issue:
   1. George Henry Fitzroy, 4th Duke of Grafton (see here).

   2. General Lord Charles FitzRoy, had issue:
      1. Vice-Admiral Robert FitzRoy, born 1805,
         Captain of the Beagle, on which Darwin sailed.

2. Charles FitzRoy, 1st Baron Southampton (see here),
   built Fitzroy Square, in an area now sometimes called Fitzrovia, central London,
   Fitzroy Square named after his grandfather the 2nd Duke.
