mar 1799 to Mary Ann Hotchkin [bapt 26 Nov 1776],
children bapt in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire,
he died 24 Mar 1805, age 33 yrs, bur Whittlesey,
she remarried in 1806,
had among other issue:

1. Thomas Aveling, bapt 1801,
   mar Ann Hobson,
   he died 1835,
   his widow moved to Rochester, Kent, and re-married 1836 to Rev. John d'Urban,
   had issue:
   1. Thomas Aveling, inventor of the steam roller,
      born 1824 in Whittlesey,
      bapt 1 Nov 1824 at Elm, Cambridgeshire.

   2. Robert Aveling, born 1826, had issue:
