William de Braose, Sheriff of Herfordshire (see here),
mar Bertha de Pitres [descendant of Lady Godiva],
had issue:

William de Braose, Lord of Bramber (see here),
mar Maud de St. Valerie,
she was starved to death with her adult son William in Windsor Castle by King John 1210,
had issue:

1. Margaret de Braose, mar Walter de Lacy, 2nd Lord of Meath and had issue.

   
   

2. William de Braose (NOT father of Reginald),
   starved to death as an adult with his mother by King John 1210.

   
   

3. Reginald de Braose (see here),
   mar Gwladus Ddu "the Dark" [descendant of Lady Godiva] and had issue:
   1. William de Braose, Lord of Abergavenny (see here),
      mar Eva Marshal [descendant of Charlemagne],
      rebuilt Abergavenny Castle (and here and images), Abergavenny, Wales, pre-1175,
      he was much hated by native Welsh,
      through his wife inherited Dunamase Castle, Co.Laois,
      hanged 1230,
      title extinct, later went to Beauchamp,
      had issue:
      1. Maud de Braose, mar Roger Mortimer and had issue.

      2. Eva de Braose,
         mar William de Cantelou (see here),
         died 1255, bur St. Mary's Church Priory, Abergavenny,
         had issue:
         1. Milicent de Cantelou, mar Eudo la Zouche and had issue.

      3. Eleanor de Braose, mar Humphrey de Bohun and had issue.
