Charles Gibbon,
bapt 3 Apr 1750.
He mar 24 May 1772 [Nigg] to Margaret Mackie.
He was a ship builder.
They had issue:


  1. Jean Gibbon,
    bapt 4 July 1773 [St.Fittick's, Nigg Bay].

  2. Isabel Gibbon.
    She mar 1794 to Andrew Gray [ship's captain].


  3. Charles Gibbon, born 1782.
    He was a ship's captain.
    He mar 1stly, 1806, to Ann Mackie [born 1776].
    Ann died 1837.
    He mar 2ndly, 1840, to Elspet Brodie [born 1792].
    He died 1860.
    Elspet died 1864.
    His children settled in New Machar parish, NW of Aberdeen.
    He had issue by 1st wife:

    1. Andrew Gibbon, born 1808.
      He was a farmer.
      He mar 1844 to Elspet Murray.
      He died 1882.
      She died 1886.

    2. Charles Gibbon, born 1810.
      He died 1842.

    3. Brebner Gibbon [dau], born 1813.
      She mar 1840 to James Mackenzie [born 1782].
      He was a farmer.
      He died 1859.
      She died 1899.

    4. William Gibbon, born 1815.

    5. James Gibbon, born 1818.
      He died 1835.

    6. Isabella Gibbon (or Isabel), born 1822.
      She mar 1849 to John Wallace.
      He was a ship's captain.
      He died 1882.
      She died 1911.
