[bapt 7th Jan 1680] and had issue:
- Alexander Thomson, bapt 9th Oct 1716 [St.Nicholas', Aberdeen].
she died 7th Sept 1738 [grave, St.Nicholas', Aberdeen] or 1739 [portrait], age 58 or 59 yrs.

from her father
David Ædie,
since a "Mr. Thomson" was in residence when the house
was occupied for 6 weeks in 1746 by the
Duke of Cumberland
(see
here)
on his way north to defeat
Bonnie Prince Charlie's
Highlanders at
Culloden
[Munro, 1886].
The house was known as "Cumberland's House" for some time after.
