The de Bermingham family built Baldungan Castle (or Baldongan), SW of Skerries (in the direction of Lusk), N Co.Dublin, in the 13th cent.

Not identified in [Burkes Extinct]:

--- Bermingham,
of Ballydungan,
mar Anne Berford [dau of Thomas Berford, of Kilrue, Ratoath par, Co.Meath, by his wife Janet Eustace],
had issue:

  1. Anne Bermingham, or Amy,
    mar pre-1509 to Christopher St.Lawrence, 4th (17th) Baron Howth and had issue.

he died,
Anne remarried to Nicholas St.Lawrence, 3rd (16th) Baron Howth,
her daughter married his son.
