    had issue:

    1. Rev. Edward Day, Archdeacon of Ardfert 1782-1808, had issue:

      1. Lucy Day, mar 1796 to Rev. William Godfrey [born 1765] and had issue.
      2. Rev. Edward Day, mar 1802 to Harriet Rowan.

    2. Hon Justice Robert Day, MP,
      Bob, born 1 July 1746, NOT 1745,
      mar 1stly, 1774, to Mary Pott,
      friend of Grattan,
      built Day Place, Tralee, 1794 (or poss. 1805), a row of fine Georgian houses on Prince's St, W side of Tralee town (see map),
      friend of O'Connell,
      he was the judge in the Rowan Cashel trial 1816,
      retired 1818, age 72 yrs,
      Mary Pott died 1823,
      mar 2ndly, 1824, to Mary FitzGerald (with whom he already had two boys),
      died 1841, age 95 yrs,
      had issue by 1st wife:

      1. Elizabeth Day [Betsy], born 1778 or 1779,
        mar 1794 or 1795 [her age 16] to Sir Edward Denny, 3rd Baronet and had issue.


  2. Rev. Edward Day,
    he must be Edward Day who was Rector of Tralee 1751-55 and 1758-60,
    mar Mary Rowan and had issue:

    1. Rev. James Day, born 1752,
      mar Margaret McGillycuddy [born est c.1760],
      Rector of Tralee 1805-18,
      he died 1818, age 66 yrs,
      had issue:

      1. Sarah Day, Sally,
        mar 19 August 1809 [Tralee CoI par records] to John James Hickson and had issue:

        1. Mary Hickson, born 3 May 1811,
          bapt 7 May 1811 [Tralee CoI par records] (and other scan),
          died young.

        2. Mary Agnes Hickson, born 27 November 1825,
          bapt 1 December 1825 [Tralee CoI par records],
          Co.Kerry genealogist and historian,
          did not marry,
          see controversy with James Franklin Fuller in Kerry Evening Post 1893,
          she wrote to Rev. Thomas Enraght Lindsay in 1897,
          died in Mitchelstown, Co.Cork, 6 Apr 1899, age 73 yrs, bur Tralee.
