mar Joan McCarthy [dau of Cormac McFlorry McCarthy of Headfort, Aghadoe parish, Co.Kerry],
John Rahilly is listed in [Griffiths Valuation, 1852] as occupying 40 acres (with a house) in Knockearagh, leased from Thomas H. Mayberry,
"a very positive statement that met me everywhere was that old John Rahilly of Knockearagh was Egan's great grandnephew" [The O'Rahilly, writing 12th Aug 1910],
he confirmed the location of the O'Rahilly tomb in Muckross Abbey,
had issue:
