He mar 1stly to Martha Walker [descendant of Edward III].
She died 1683.
Thomas had issue by 1st wife:

1. Alice Shiercliffe.
   She mar Edward Rice.
   He was MP for Dingle 1689.
   They had issue:
   1. Christian Rice, mar 1743 to Edmond Conway and had issue.

   2. Mary Rice, mar 1749 to Richard Blennerhassett and had issue.

Thomas mar 2ndly, post-1683, to Deborah Jones.
He had issue by 2nd wife:

1. William Shiercliffe,
   of Loughbegg, Co.Kerry (or of Castlegregory, Killiney par, Co.Kerry).
   He mar 1stly, before 1720, to Elizabeth ----.
   She died 1721.
   He mar 2ndly, 2 Feb 1721 (possibly 1722 new style) to Sarah Rowan [born est c.1702].
   He died Feb 1727 [Hickson, 9 Jan 1897].

   [Hickson, 1874] describes his widow Sarah as "Mrs. Shiercliffe, the wealthy widow of the Cromwellian purchaser of Walter Hussey's forfeited estate". Except the Cromwellian would be an earlier generation.
