The match to me and James Riordan is through the same DNA segment, on Chromosome 4.
So the match must be through the
Blennerhassett Cashel line.
To do: Check chromosome for the Madeline Conacher match.
How are we related?
Her ancestry has many Anglo-Irish Munster families.
But I cannot see any line by which we could be related except through the Blennerhassett and (maybe) Fitzgerald lines.
We have two theories of our own Blennerhassett descent:
Neither theory seems likely.
Probably the match is through another recent line we do not know about.

Eileen Owen.
This is in fact
explained by the fact that they both descend from the Gentleman family in the early 19th century.
The common ancestors are
Robert Gentleman and his wife Margaret Goodman.

Alexander Eagar and Triphena Browne
in early 1700s, rather far back.

While he descends from Anglo-Irish Munster families linked to Blennerhassett, he does not descend directly from Blennerhassett.
His match with
Kathy FitzGerald is unexplained.
This may be key to how Kathy FitzGerald matches our family.
Maybe she has a recent Yielding ancestor?
