Sir William Herbert (whose daughter married Conway)

[Smith, 1756] shows Capt. Jenkin Conway marrying Mary Herbert, dau of a Sir William Herbert.
[Burkes Peerage, various edns] says Capt. Jenkin Conway's wife Mary Herbert was dau of Sir William Herbert of the Coldbrook branch.
This may be Sir William Herbert the younger above, Sheriff 1551, died 1579.
However the Herbert pedigrees do not show a dau Mary, or any marriage to Conway.
This line needs more work.
