Her father
tended to take the pro-British side in the Troubles.
But she had many relations
active in Sinn Fein and IRA.
They got married after Independence, during the Civil War.
He stayed in the Army.
She travelled with her husband throughout his army career.
Their son was born in 1928 when they were in
Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany.
(Wiesbaden was the headquarters of the
British Army of the Rhine
from 1925 to 1930.)
He died 1967, London.
She lived in Army HQ in England until death.
She died London, 9 Dec 1980, age 83 yrs.
