He died 1 June 1955, age 55 yrs.
She died 21 May 1991, Parteen, Co.Clare, age c.91 yrs.

   She mar --- O'Shea.

2. Paddy Lane, MEP,
   Patrick, born 7 September 1934, Quinpool.
   MEP and President of Irish Farmers' Association. See wikipedia.
   He was educ Crescent College, where he started playing rugby.
   He joined Irish Army. Attended military college at the Curragh. Eventually rose to Captain.
   Played rugby for Munster. Played for Munster against All-Blacks in 1963. He punched one of the All-Blacks in a dispute.
   Played rugby for Ireland, for only one match. He played for Ireland against Wales in 1964.
   He mar Carmel O'Connor.
   President of IFA:
   He was involved for many years with the National Farmers Association (NFA), which became the Irish Farmers' Association (IFA).
   He was involved in a NFA go slow campaign in paying rates in 1967, for which he was jailed for 5 weeks.
   Deputy President of Irish Farmers' Association 1974-1976.
   President of Irish Farmers' Association 1976-1980.
   He was a director of the Bank of Ireland, 1980-1984.
   MEP for Munster:
   Fianna Fail MEP for Munster 1989 to 1994.
   Carmel died 27 May 2011.
   Paddy died 23 or 24 July 2012, Mid Western Regional Hospital, Limerick.
   Paddy and Carmel had issue:
   1. Tommy Lane.
   2. David Lane.
   3. Liz Lane.
   4. Geraldine Lane.

   
   

3. Margaret Lane,
   born c.October 1936, Limerick.
   She died as a baby, 22 November 1936.

4. Marie Lane,
   born Quinpool.
   She died 3 November 2023, St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.
