Louis McMullan,
born 1859, Co.Tyrone.
Auctioneer and Estate Agent.
He mar 1895 to Winifred Brophy.
See family listed in 1911 census on Oakley Road, Ranelagh, Co.Dublin.
He moved before 1921 to Elm Park House, Merrion Road, Dublin.
Listed at Elm Park on p.1839 of [Thom's, 1921].
Listed at Elm Park on p.1840 and p.2104 of [Thom's, 1923].
Listed at Elm Park on p.1633 of [Thom's, 1931].
Louis died 1934.
Family is gone from Elm Park in [Thom's, 1935, p.1535].
Louis and Winifred had issue:


  1. Joe McMullan,
    born 1897.
    Auctioneer.
    Ran family business, McMullan and Co., auctioneers, 26 Bachelor's Walk.
    Later it was McMullan Bros., auctioneers and valuers, 161 Lower Rathmines Rd.
    He did not marry.
    He died 1950s.


  2. John McMullan,
    Jack, born 1899.
    He went on motor trials.
    He or his brother would be the Mr. McMullan who is with James A. Jones in Thomond no.1 in 1926 "24 hours" trial.
    Never really involved in the auction business.
    He worked in the motor industry.
    He was a salesman for Morris in England for long time.
    He worked at one time for FAG Bearings, 182 Pearse St, Dublin. I do not know when, and I cannot find this business in [Thom's].
    He did not marry.
    He died early 1970s.


  3. Louis McMullan,
    born 1901.
    He mar 1936 to Moira Rose [dau of Henry Rose].
    Worked in England during WW2.
    Returned to Ireland.
    He died late 1978 / early 1979.
    They had issue:

    1. Louis A. Mc Mullan.


  4. Frank McMullan,
    born 1903.
    He went on motor trials.
    He or his brother would be the Mr. McMullan who is with James A. Jones in Thomond no.1 in 1926 "24 hours" trial.
    He co-ran auction business.
    He did not marry.
    Living St.Penryst, St. Thomas' Rd, Mt Merrion, as at [Thom's, 1943].
    He died 1979.


  5. Oonagh McMullan,
    born 1904.

  6. Nancy McMullan,
    born 1905.
    Alive in 1984.


  7. Jimmy McMullan,
    born 1907.
    Worked in England for 40 years.
    Returned to Ireland.
    Alive in 1984. Living St.Penryst, St. Thomas' Rd, Mt Merrion.


  8. Patricia McMullan,
    born 1908.
