1. James Tangney,
   born 22 April 1896, Ballinorig East,
   bapt 26 April 1896 [Tralee RC par records],
   "James Tangney (35), farmer's son, of Ballinorig, Tralee" was convicted of indecent assault at the Central Criminal Court in 1928,
   he was convicted of the indecent assault of "a young girl" at Ballybeggan outside Tralee, on 13 Nov 1927,
   he already had a long criminal record, the prosecution stated that "the accused man was a notorious ruffian and a menace to the district", he got 2 years in jail,

   he inherited the farm at Ballinorig but it failed,
   died June 1965, age 69 yrs.
