born 1786.

He mar 31 Mar 1818 to Jane O'Donoghue [dau of Charles O'Donoghue of the Glens].
Lived at Lakeville (later Lakeview), near Killarney. There by 1824.
He is listed as of "Lakeville" in Freemans Journal, 24 Feb 1825.
The name of the house soon changed to "Lakeview". He is listed as of "Lakeview" in Deed of 15 Feb 1826.
Though he is still listed as of "Lakeville" in [Lewis, 1837].
The house is called "Lakeview" on 1829 to 1842 map.
He was created a Baronet in 1869.
He built a new "Lakeview House" in 1870.
He died 1872, age 86 yrs.
Sir James and Jane had issue:

born 1821,
had issue:

Sir Morgan Ross O'Connell, 4th Baronet,
born 1862.
He mar Mary Pauline Hickie [of the family of Hickie of Killelton].
They had issue:

1. Sir Maurice James Arthur O'Connell, 5th Baronet,
   born 1889.
   He had issue:
   1. Sir Morgan Donal Conail O'Connell, 6th Baronet,
      born 1923.
      He mar 1953 to Elizabeth MacCarthy-O'Leary.
      He died 1989.
      They had issue:
      1. Sir Maurice O'Connell, 7th Baronet.
