born 21 Nov 1879, Thurles, Co.Tipperary.
Went to Dublin.
Lived with his brother Patrick Blake, who was in business there.
His brother "P. Blake", "plumber and gasfitter", is listed at 3 North Great George's Street, Dublin, in [Thom's, 1910, p.1569].
See the brothers listed in 1911 census at 3 North Great George's Street. Patrick is "master contractor". William is "contractor".
William went back to Thurles.
He ran an extensive business at 17-18 Liberty Square, Thurles. (Grocery, tobacco, wine and spirits.)
At mar he is "merchant", living Liberty Square.
He mar 1928 to Kathleen Lane [born 3 Feb 1896].
He died 9 August 1969, Thurles, age 89 yrs.
She died 19 March 1974, Thurles, age 78 yrs.
They had issue:

1. Johanna Blake,
   Jo, born Mar 1931, Dublin.
   She died 23 July 1949, Dublin, age 18 yrs.

   
   

2. Rosalie Blake,
   born 13 Mar 1933, Dublin.
   She mar 1stly to Ailbe O'Meara [born 1922].
   He died 1971.
   She mar 2ndly to Des O'Neill [Maurice Desmond, born 1923].
   He died 2004.
   She died 10 Dec 2024, Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co.Tipperary, age 91 yrs.
   She had issue by 1st husband:
   1. Gerard O'Meara.
   2. Joan O'Meara.
   3. Gabrielle O'Meara.
