William Blennerhassett, of Gortatlea,
bapt 8 April 1821 [Ballymacelligott and Ballyseedy CoI par records].
He mar 1848 to Jane Giles.
He died 1899.
She died 1920.
They had issue:


  1. Thomas William Blennerhassett, of Gortatlea,
    born 1849.
    He mar 1873 to Mary Anne Hoffman.
    See them listed in 1901 census at Gortatlea. He is farmer. All Church of Ireland.
    See them listed in 1911 census at Gortatlea. He is farmer. All Church of Ireland. Son Thomas with them.
    He died 1920.
    She died 1929.
    They had issue:


    1. Ellen Blennerhassett, born 1875,
      mar 1903 to Joseph Stephens and had issue.


    2. Thomas Blennerhassett, of Gortatlea,
      Tom, born 9 Sept 1885.
      He signs himself "Thomas T.W. Blennerhassett" in 1965. He was not baptised Thomas William Blennerhassett, but he adopted that name himself.
      He mar 1919 to Mary Jane Geary and had issue.
      They mar at Frankfield CoI church, Cork. See mar cert.
      He was called "Old Tom" later in life.
      He corresponded with Pat Lavelle in 1965. See [PAT/14].

      He corresponded (about Gortatlea disinheritance) with Bill Jehan in 1969. See [PAT/20] and [PAT/21].
      He died 19 Sept 1971, age 86 yrs.
      Mary Jane died 1983.


    3. Lena Blennerhassett, born 1895,
      mar James Sims and had issue:

      1. Nancy Sims, born 1921,
        mar Frank Blennerhassett and had issue.
